As a member we want you to participate, help develop the activities of your Division and share ideas about science and society and the promotion of science as a vital part of our developing national culture.
One of the important functions of ANZAAS is to make submissions to the various inquiries about aspects of science (for example the Batterham inquiry). ANZAAS is particularly well placed for this - our membership is national and multidisciplinary so that we can take a broad perspective, not constrained by a particular discipline. By assisting in submission preparation your voice can be heard by decision makers.
You can also participate in policy debate on the members bulletin board, or, in print, in the pages of the ANZAAS Mercury.
